The 1963 UK halfpenny obverse features the laureate bust of young Queen Elizabeth II facing right, with the surrounding legend:

The reverse shows a depiction of Sir Francis Drake's galleon, the 'Golden Hind'. The words 'HALF PENNY' are above the main design, and the date is below.
SOURCE for photo and description. Mine is a little darker due to age but everything is still readable. From what I can see there are still a lot of these being used today and they aren't rare by any means. I really like it because of the ship.
